Who determines the NCAA Polls on Yahoo Sports?
I know the AP poll is determined by sports writers and believe that the USA poll is determined by a number of actual coaches, but now they have a poll done by harris Interactive and I have no idea how their data is determined and want to know if they are credible.

- The great Austin N Fight ON!! Root for USC
- AUSTIN N JUST BLOWS!
- On behalf of the Bowl Championship Series, Harris Interactive has constructed a panel of former players, coaches, administrators and current and former media who are committed to ranking the college teams each week during the 2007 college football season. Panelists have been randomly selected from among more than 300 nominations submitted by the conference offices and the independent institutions. The panel has been designed to be a statistically valid representation of all 11 Division I-A conferences and institutions participating in the Bowl Championship Series.
- Im not sure how they come up with it or who votes on the Harris poll, but I do know that that one, the coaches poll, and a few more have a tie in with the BCS polls. The AP poll doesn't mean anything toward the final rakings (the BCS poll determines which teams play in the championship game). Austin, your beloved USC looked like a bunch of thugs on the field Saturday night against the Huskies. Unsportsmanship conduct penalties coming every time you turned around. These guys are in for a long season if they keep playing like this. They will lose 2 games and not even have to worry about the NC!
- Sounds like a question from a disgruntled SC fan.
