When there is competition wwe is meant to be for people above 16 for christ sake vince stop making wwe too kiddy. BQ: Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels in fact most of the big names in wcw plays politics cause they have full creative control.
WWE wants to be more popular and breach the gap into mainstream pop cluture. I really doubt they will increase the violence adn they most certainly won't allow swearing (because of their corportae sponsors as well as their broadcasting partners - because USA would get the fine if HHH swore his head off). BQ: I have no doubt that wrestlers play politics, but is it to the extreme taht people seem to make it? Hogan revolutionized professional wrestling. If he didn't like someone, McMahon didn't have much of a choice but to make him happy. HHH simply didn't revolutionize anything. I get wanting to make him happy beacuse he's a big ticket, but I don't think he should (or does) have the sway to get rid of wrestlers, put certain people on the shelf, etc. I think the politics angle might be overblown.
I like a little profanity here and there. HBk places politics back stage. He got mad at Umaga for wearing tights like triple H. Randy Orton got brave and defended Umaga. I think HBK makes poor decisions when he plays Politics backstage. He hatd the fact that Austin and Rock go bigeer than he did in so little time so he tried holing them back, but he got a back injury
Never. They are targeting a much younger audience. That's why people like John Cena and Hornswoggle are so popular. I would love to see a more serious,adult oriented theme to the wwe, But I don't think it will happen. Kids watch more television than adults, so targeting children should get them more ratings. "It's all about the money"
probably never. it's already very risque with the scantily clad women...and don't you think the violence is already over the top? exactly what more violence do you want? more chair shots, more sledgehammers? I think it's fine the way it is, the popularity could only go higher if they had more "celebrity" type wrestlers, like the rock, or stone cold.

I think Raw should get more attitude back. That will bring back the casual fans they are desperately trying to get. It will also bring back old fans. Smackdown is already kid oriented. Since ecw will soon be traveling with Raw, Smackdown will be the single show. And I heard their will be big stars moving to smackdown. So make smackdown the show for kids and give raw some attitude.
