I would have to say 0%. I mean they're showing highlights of preseason football like its the flippin Super Bowl. Will hockey ever be what it used to be on ESPN?

Im an american sports fan, I like most sports......but hockey is not one of them. I have tried to get into watching hockey but just dont understand the rules good enough and its not exciting enough I guess. I feel bad for people like yourself that likes hockey, but the facts are Americans dont care for hockey as much as football.

None, ESPN is holding a grudge because the NHL went after money and went to VS. Now ESPN is taking their ball and going home so they don't help promote VS basically.
none because the NHL signed with VS (formerly OLN) and therefore ESPN does not show and NHL games just the highlights.
Who cares? ESPN sucks. Get a freakin' dish. Pick up CBC, Sportsnet or TSN from Canada. Man oh man.

Funny how people are saying Americans don't like hockey, hmm interesting, that depends on what part of the country they're talking about. Which slightly leads into the answer of your question, no. But I say no because ESPN is too wrapped up with trivial so called sports like Poker, I'm still trying to figure out how that's even a sport. Anyways, I think most of your answerers don't realize that in Canada, you guys get ESPN. I apologize to you for my ignorant fellow Americans. As much as I like hockey, I think it will take a while but remember with baseball back in the '90's, it came back, it took some records to be broken, and the Yanks to win some series but it came back. Funny how a lot of Americans forget that. It will be back, but not any time in the near future. Let Sid the Kid and Alex do their stuff and we can say goodbye to Poker-yay!
